Lactose intolerant himself, Giuseppe Maione started Alchemy Creamery among friends in his typically cramped New York City apartment. Armed with a homemade ice cream machine, and a love of food nurtured by a lifetime spent in his family’s several restaurants. Maione’s goal is simple: transform ice cream into a universal pleasure for everyone to enjoy.
Born and raised in NYC, JD & Giuseppe met at the University of Connecticut. Together they recognized each other’s shared culinary passions and promised one day to bring their treats to the masses. As Chief Operations Officer, JD is responsible for managing the company’s day-to-day functions by procuring all goods and overseeing production.
A Brooklyn native & man of good taste, Jesse has over eight years of sales experience to bring to the management team. In his previous sales positions he consistently outsold and out performed his peers, earning awards of distinction from his superiors. With his extensive knowledge and customer relations skills, he is an indispensable asset and an ideal individual to manage and run all sales and distribution aspects of our company.
Jordan Danis, cut his teeth in the service industry on the picturesque coast of Maine. He currently manages the front desk of a small luxury hotel & serves formal French style tea parties in Gramercy. He also attends Hunter College where he has conducted research for the past two years, studying disparities in childhood health, education, & relative poverty levels in the urban environment. As well as conduct some of the most delicious flavor experiments, in the kitchen at Alchemy Creamery.
