Alchemy: An ancient science. Its practitioners hoped to unlock the secret to the Fountain of Youth. They dreamed of a potion to reinvigorate the possessor's youthful spirit & sense of wonder. Today, we Alcreamists have created a blend of non-dairy ice creams that play on the mystical elements of food & imagination. With special care to make our treats lactose & gluten free, we've made this Fountain of Youth off-limits to none.  With the addition of powerful, distinctive fruits, vegetables & teas for flavoring, we've created a uniquely decadent ice cream experience.

Alchemy Creamery started, like many things, from an idea that was fueled by the fire of friends. Giuseppe Maione moved to New York City after earning his BFA & spending a lifetime in his family's several restaurants. He moved in with newlyweds (both vegetarian, himself lactose intolerant) who had a homemade ice cream machine.  It wasn't long before they began to churn out crystalized confections together. Whenever friends were around they were treated to mind bending mouthfuls of alternative flavors & helped him add to his growing list of creations. Eventually he enlisted his first Alcreamists, JD & Jesse to help him expand the business to something more than just an overflowing container of ice cream on a kitchen counter & a sink full of dirty spoons.

Our potions are hand crafted in small batches in Long Island City at the Organic Food Incubator.
